GPS

My goal is to create a simple and easy way of researching the hikes I have completed.  I have been hiking off and on for a good portion of my life, as well as doing search and rescue more recently.  I started to keep track of my hikes and log photos.  There is a great deal of hikes that I have done more then once and I am going back to get the GPS track. However, some of the hikes I am doing for the first time.  I will be trying to give the best description of the trail that I can.  I'm not looking to make another bias review about the trail, but just give an idea of where the trail is and what is on it.

I will be logging my hikes with a Garmin eTrex Vista HCx GPS device, on datum WGS 84, and creating .kml files for Google Earth for each individual hike.  My camera also logs the GPS coordinates of the images I posted.  If you are interested in the .gdb file .kml file, or image coordinates please contact me for more information.
